About me
Cathie Bell is an award winning communicator, based in Blenheim and living the Marlborough lifestyle. Cathie works with clients throughout New Zealand and around the world.

There is nothing that she likes more than telling a great story.
​
Cathie worked for more than a decade for Wellington's morning newspaper The Dominion. She travelled with peacekeepers to war zones, sat with toddlers in preschools and haunted Wellington's docks, all in search of a good story.
​
More recently she has worked for the Government presenting policies and activities to local communities and international forums. She has worked in regional economic development and set up Marlborough's Chinese Sister city relationship.
​
Cathie is also heavily involved in her local Marlborough community. She works in voluntary groups, chairing the Mistletoe Bay Trust Inc and serving on the Marlborough Heritage Trust and the Marlborough Sister City Committee. She also represents electricity users on the Marlborough Electric Power Trust as an elected trustee. She is now serving on the Energy Trusts of New Zealand Board.

Outside work Cathie likes to grow fruit, admires her table fruit grapevine and likes to sit with a good book and a nice Marlborough wine.
